Wholesale Account Manager
The Wholesale Account Manager plays a key role in driving the growth of our brand by managing and nurturing relationships with our retail partners. This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and ensuring the successful delivery of products to our wholesale clients. This role will answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. They will recommend products to customers based on customers' needs and interests and estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. ABLE is a growing fashion brand with a mission of ending generational poverty by creating economic opportunity for women, both locally and globally. Primary Responsibilities:
To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale accounts to ensure
customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. Act as the primary point of contact for all
wholesale clients located in the Nashville, TN area.
Identify and pursue new retail partnerships to expand the brand’s presence in key
markets. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure new business opportunities.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute sales strategies that
meet or exceed revenue targets. Provide insights on market trends and customer needs to
help shape product offerings.
Develop a deep understanding of our product lines to effectively communicate product
benefits to clients and match them with appropriate inventory.
Resolve any issues or concerns from wholesale clients promptly, ensuring a high level of
customer service and satisfaction.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer preferences to stay ahead in the
wholesale market.
Track and report on sales performance, account activity, and market trends. Provide
regular updates to the CEO.
Conduct training sessions to ensure continuous development of staff skills and
knowledge.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities ensuring team members are provided with necessary resources in accordance with the Company’s leadership philosophy, policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include leading by example, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Knowledge & Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in wholesale account management, preferably in women’s apparel or accessories.
Strong understanding of the wholesale fashion industry and retail business.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
Results-driven with a focus on sales targets and customer satisfaction.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with CRM software and order management systems is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
Education and/or Experience:
Experience working with retailers and distributors in the fashion industry; specialty and major accounts experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of current fashion trends and retail markets.
Proven track record of successfully growing wholesale accounts and revenue.
Fluency in additional languages is a plus (e.g., Spanish).
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages.
Language Skills:
Ability to understand, read, write and speak English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to successfully write reports, business correspondence and policy. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors and the general public.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and correct errors. Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information.
